For too long, people with intellectual and developmental disabilities have been confined to the shadows and excluded from our society's mainstream. Big Magic Studios allows our amazing friends to express themselves through art and gives them a chance to exhibit and sell their work, just like any other artist.

LEADERSHIP

Erin Shriver and her husband, Beaver Shriver founded Inclusion Revolution, a 501(c)(3) nonprofit that supports Big Magic Studios. She serves together with all of the Inclusion Revolution board members, supporters, and volunteers to promote a more unified and compassionate world.

Erin is the lead instructor and program coordinator at Big Magic Studios. She thrives on “being in the thick of it,” and Big Magic Studios is a perfect way for her to be "hands on" and help make a dent in the alarming 80% unemployment rate for people with intellectual and developmental disabilities.

OUR MISSION

Big Magic Studios celebrates and lifts up artists with intellectual and developmental disabilities (IDD) by providing in-person and online opportunities for them to create, showcase, and sell their art. Through creative expression and strategic partnerships, we foster inclusion, self-worth, and a chance for financial advancement for our artists.

In addition, the finished original work is offered for sale and is also digitized and prepared by Erin Shriver to be licensed by companies for use on products.

We celebrate and honor their special abilities.

Big Magic Studios artists have special abilities
and just want to be treated just like everyone else.

INCLUSION AND OPPORTUNITY

Visit some amazing artists at our studio, feel the joy as they express themselves through art, and please consider helping change the life of another by donating to our supporting nonprofit, Inclusion Revolution.

COMMUNITY IMPACT

Big Magic Studios provides a safe, inclusive space where artists with disabilities can develop their talents, gain confidence, and access economic opportunities.

By integrating an online instructional courses with our IDD artists acting as video producers and instructors (peer-to-peer workshops), we not only empower our program participants, but we also create an accessible learning experience for a wider audience, reinforcing the value of inclusion in the arts.
